How to: Create a callout in a Word 7.0 document.
Solution:
Select Page Layout view and click 'Callout' from the 'Drawing' toolbar.
1) Display the 'Drawing' toolbar by clicking 'Drawing' on the 'Standard' toolbar.
2) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Page Layout'. (The document converts to 'Page Layout' view.)
3) Click 'Callout' on the 'Drawing' toolbar. (The mouse pointer changes to a cross.)
4) Position the cross where the callout line will start.
5) Drag the cross to where the callout text is to begin (i.e., the length of the callout line).
6) Type the callout text in the box.
7) Single-click outside the callout text box to return to the document. (The box disappears, and the text remains, pointing to the desired location.)
